Introduction

This site was created to establish a dialogue about what is important to Ohioans in general, and citizens in Ohio House District 46 in particular.

My name is Mark Dansack, and I am the endorsed Democrat for the office of District 46 Representative for the state of Ohio.

I'm running for office because I believe we can and must do better. Issues such as primary and secondary school funding, the cost of higher education rising uncontrollably, and the creation and/or retention of good paying jobs with benefits are not being addressed. We also have seen ethical violations that are unacceptable and must be stopped.

Only by continuously asking the questions and demanding resolution will our state move forward. I hope to begin a dialogue which will ensure that these issues are addressed.

Thank you.

Mark Dansack

I believe we need new people in government and am willing to take a look at Mr. Dansack. There is just too much corruption and the average person is giving up and dropping out of the process.

We need people we can believe in who will look after our best interests, not the special interests who seem to get all the benefits.

It looks as if a nerve has been struck. In trying to open a dialogue, it appears there are those out there who are either upset with the message or just simply messing around.

At any rate, I will continue to post regarding issues of importance to me. It also looks as if I've taken on identities which both agree and disagree with me, which will serve to broaden my outlook. ; )

I really wish I had time to post to myself (sometimes using others' names) - - - - I thought I was trying to discuss issues .... my mistake.

Thanks to all for your participation. Maybe I should have merely thanked myself. : )

Mr. Dansack-
Thanks for making your campaign transparent and accessible. Both are qualities we need desperately in government, though admittantly I've heard very little about you in local media.

If you would kindly answer a couple of questions for me I'd love the opportunity to get to know more about your campaign:

1. Should and how can we expand health coverage to the millions of Ohioans currently without any insurance?
2. Briefly describe your views on the 2nd ammendment.
3. Several states have taken the issue of Roe v. Wade into their own hands. Where do you stand on this issue as you run for a spot in state legislature?

Thank you for your time, and please don't be discouraged by previous posts that have challenged your openness.

Thanks for the comments and questions.

I believe our goal should be to work toward seeing that those without health insurance are covered. Two proposals that deserve study are the following:
Allow small businesses to purchase group health insurance from the same plan that the state offers its employees; and offer a tax credit to businesses who offer health insurance to their employees.

There will be more later on the 2nd amendment and Roe v Wade. Very difficult to address these complex issues in this type of forum.

Thanks,

Mark
